Common questions
Which treatments do you offer?
Everything from check-ups, hygiene and fillings to whitening, bonding, veneers, clear aligners, dental implants, teeth in a day (All-on-X) and sedation for nervous patients.
Is professional whitening safe?
Yes. Our whitening is prescribed and monitored by a dentist, using products designed to brighten teeth without damaging them.
How often should I have a check-up?
Most people benefit from a check-up and hygiene visit every six months. Your dentist may suggest a different interval depending on your oral health.
Can I use my dental insurance?
Yes. You pay us at your appointment and then claim back from your insurer. Policies vary, so check your cover first. Reception can give you the paperwork you need.
What happens at a first visit?
We'll carry out a full examination with x-rays, ask about any concerns and talk through what we find and what your options are.
Is cosmetic treatment right for me?
If there's something about your smile you'd like to change, such as colour, shape, gaps or alignment, book a cosmetic consultation and we'll explain what's possible.
What if I have a dental emergency?
Call us on 01733 215555 as early as possible and we'll do our best to see you. Registered patients can call the same number at weekends and on bank holidays for on-call instructions.
Do you have payment plans or memberships?
Yes. We accept Denplan Essentials and have our own membership plans covering routine care with treatment discounts. For larger treatments, 12-month interest-free finance is available, subject to status.
